FAITH Conclave 2026 to Chart Roadmap for Tourism-Led Economic Growth in India

As India strengthens its ambition to emerge as one of the world’s leading tourism economies, the Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH) will host the FAITH Conclave 2026 on July 16–17, 2026, in New Delhi. Themed “Incredible India: Invaluable Economics,” the conclave will bring together policymakers, global tourism leaders, and industry captains to deliberate on strategies to accelerate tourism-led economic growth and unlock the full potential of India’s tourism sector.

The two-day conclave will focus on key priorities shaping the future of Indian tourism, including year-round leisure travel, aviation-led growth, hospitality competitiveness, frontier tourism, sustainable development and strengthening India’s position as a global MICE destination.

The conclave will be inaugurated by Union Minister of Tourism & Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, alongside the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, and the Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah. A key highlight will be a keynote address by Gloria Guevara, CEO of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).

Other prominent speakers include Member of Parliament Anurag Singh Thakur; Gen. Anil Chauhan, former Chief of Defence Staff, who will participate in a fireside chat on unlocking the strategic potential of India’s border destinations; Suman Billa, Additional Secretary and Director General, Tourism; German Ambassador to India Dr. Philipp Ackermann; Dr. Neeraj Kharwal, Managing Director, ITPO; and Hari Kishore, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Chairman, ICPB.

The programme will also feature special sessions with actors Boman Irani and Anupam Kher, while author and television personality Shailesh Lodha will present an engaging session titled The Fun Side of Incredible India.

Leading industry voices, including Puneet Chhatwal (IHCL), Rajesh Magow (MakeMyTrip), Zubin Karkaria (VFS Global), Dr. Jyotsna Suri (The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group), K.B. Kachru (Radisson Hotel Group – South Asia), Nipun Agarwal (Air India), Aloke Singh (IndiGo) and Kevin Markette (Lufthansa Group), will share insights on the future of India’s travel and hospitality ecosystem.

Speaking ahead of the conclave, Puneet Chhatwal, Chairman, FAITH, said, “India stands at a defining moment in its tourism journey, with its rich heritage, diverse landscapes and expanding infrastructure providing a strong foundation for global leadership.
