Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre (NJCC) and Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC) – Managed by Accor—will host the India Association Congress (IAC) 2025, one of the most prestigious gatherings of India’s association community.
On this occasion, Voyager’s World spoke with Mr. Manuj Ralhan, General Manager, Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre & JECC, who shared his views on the significance of hosting IAC, Jaipur’s MICE potential, and how his venue is shaping the future of event hospitality in India.
What does it mean for your property to be chosen as the venue for IAC 2025?
Hosting the India Association Congress is both an honour and a strategic milestone. It reflects the confidence that the association and MICE community place in our ability to deliver premium infrastructure, seamless execution, and memorable experiences. For us, it’s a recognition of our positioning as a leading MICE destination and a step forward in putting Jaipur on the global map for conventions, exhibitions, and association gatherings.
JECC is one of India’s largest convention and exhibition centres. What makes it a preferred choice for MICE events?
JECC offers an unmatched combination of scale, versatility, and accessibility. The complex spans 14 lakh sq. ft. of event space and includes two pillar-less halls of 1,06,372 sq. ft. each, the Mugdha Convention Centre with over 11,500 sq. ft., expansive outdoor venues like the Mugdha Lawn (34,565 sq. ft.) and poolside area (24,000 sq. ft.), and 12 breakout rooms for workshops. We also have parking for 2,000 cars or 1,000 coaches.
What truly sets us apart is our integration with the 226-room five-star Novotel hotel, which allows delegates to stay, meet, and network all within the same precinct. With connectivity via the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway and Jaipur International Airport, accessibility is seamless for both domestic and international participants.
How does Novotel complement JECC in creating a holistic delegate experience?
Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre is designed to complement JECC. It offers 226 rooms, 12 flexible meeting spaces, and curated food & beverage concepts. Our model ensures “everything under one roof”—delegates can transition effortlessly between accommodation, conferences, exhibitions, and leisure. Personalised check-ins, dedicated group lobbies, and customised dining elevate the overall guest experience.
Jaipur is increasingly being positioned as a MICE hub. What’s driving this growth?
Jaipur offers the best of both worlds—modern infrastructure and rich cultural appeal. The Delhi–Mumbai Expressway has reduced travel time to about three hours from Delhi, and the city is well-connected by air to major global hubs. Add to this a thriving hospitality sector, robust government support, and the timeless appeal of Rajasthan’s heritage, and you have a destination that works for both domestic and international MICE events.
How do you bring Rajasthan’s cultural identity into the MICE experience?
We believe every event should carry the essence of its destination. At NJCC and JECC, this means immersive dining concepts such as Sajjangoth, Dharti Dho Rari, and Sant Bhojan; personalised touches like regional language welcome notes; and collaborations with local women for authentic Rajasthani cuisine. We also curate cultural performances and milestone celebrations that leave a lasting emotional impact.
What initiatives are you undertaking to enhance the experience for IAC delegates?
Our strategy is built around efficiency, personalisation, and sustainability. We have separate lobbies for faster check-ins and eco-friendly operations with EV charging, e-bikes, glass bottling, biodegradable amenities, and sustainable giveaways like seed diaries and jute bags. Dedicated event teams work with organisers to customise layouts, menus, and every hospitality touchpoint.
How do you see the Indian association meetings market evolving?
The market is shifting towards larger, hybrid, and experience-driven events. Associations are increasingly looking for venues that combine premium infrastructure with sustainability and cultural resonance. We see tremendous growth ahead, particularly in medical conventions, hybrid formats, and international-scale exhibitions.
What role do integrated convention centres and branded hotels play in shaping India’s MICE future?
They are game changers. Integrated models like ours reduce logistical challenges, enhance delegate comfort, and deliver consistent hospitality standards. When you combine scale, brand trust, and service excellence, India is better positioned to compete with global MICE destinations.
Finally, what message would you like to share with IAC 2025 delegates?
We extend a very warm welcome to all delegates and stakeholders attending IAC 2025. This congress is more than just a gathering—it is a platform to shape the future of association-led collaboration in India. Our promise is to deliver hospitality that is personal, efficient, and deeply infused with the spirit of Rajasthan, ensuring every moment leaves a lasting impression.
