ASEGO hosted the inaugural edition of Built & Beyond, a pioneering conversation series created to bring together the next generation of travel entrepreneurs who are carrying forward some of India’s most respected travel brands and family-led businesses. Held at the ASEGO headquarters in Mumbai, the event brought together leading travel trade media, industry stakeholders, and travel professionals for an evening of meaningful dialogue and knowledge sharing.
The evening began with an exclusive roundtable over high tea, where invited delegates discussed the evolving travel landscape, entrepreneurship, shifting consumer expectations, technology adoption, and the future of legacy travel businesses. The informal setting encouraged open exchanges and highlighted the importance of collaboration among emerging industry leaders.
A key highlight of the event was the recording of the inaugural episode of Built & Beyond, hosted by Dev Karvat, Founder and CEO of ASEGO. Moderating the discussion, Karvat led an engaging conversation with five next-generation leaders representing some of the travel industry’s most established brands: Neil Patil of Veena World, Adil Karim of FlyCreative Group, Suprabh Oza of My Travel Bazaar, Kulin Shah of Kulin Kumar Holidays, and Anosh Kanga of Ahura Travels & Ahura Explorience.
Throughout the discussion, participants explored how legacy businesses can successfully evolve while preserving their core values. The conversation delved into themes such as industry collaboration across different travel segments, peer-to-peer learning, balancing innovation with tradition, digital transformation, changing traveller behaviour, entrepreneurship, leadership, and succession planning.
Despite representing diverse business models and market niches, the panellists shared a common vision for the future of the travel industry—one built on collaboration, continuous learning, and collective growth. The session underscored that meaningful progress can be achieved when next-generation leaders move beyond individual specialisations to exchange ideas and contribute to a stronger, more connected travel ecosystem.
More than just a panel discussion, Built & Beyond served as a platform to inspire future entrepreneurs by showcasing the value of open dialogue and diverse perspectives. The initiative reflects ASEGO’s commitment to fostering industry-wide conversations that encourage innovation while strengthening the foundations of India’s travel trade.
With the launch of Built & Beyond, ASEGO aims to establish a long-term forum that captures the voices of emerging travel leaders, facilitates insightful discussions, and documents the ideas and perspectives shaping the industry’s future.
