Centrum Air has launched its new Hyderabad–Tashkent service, strengthening direct air connectivity between the two destinations and opening new opportunities for tourism, trade and business. The launch was celebrated at an exclusive event and networking evening held at The Leela, Hyderabad. The event brought together senior representatives from the Embassy of Uzbekistan, Centrum Air, the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee, Aeroprime Group, leading travel agents, OTAs and other industry stakeholders to mark the new connection and explore opportunities for closer engagement between the two markets.
The new service will provide travellers from Hyderabad, Telangana and the wider South India region with enhanced access to Tashkent, along with onward travel opportunities across Uzbekistan and beyond. The direct connectivity is also expected to support growing tourism, business and trade ties between India and Uzbekistan. The evening commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the traditional diya by Dr. Sardor Mirzayusupovich Rustambaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan, senior Centrum Air management and other dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Adil Mirza, Head of Agents Division, Centrum Air, said, “The launch of our Hyderabad–Tashkent service marks an important milestone in Centrum Air’s international expansion and our commitment to the Indian market. Hyderabad is a dynamic and strategically important market with strong potential for both business and leisure travel. We are delighted to connect Hyderabad directly with Tashkent and offer travellers greater access to Uzbekistan and onward destinations.”
Aeroprime Group, Centrum Air’s Exclusive General Sales Agent (GSA) in India, is leading the airline’s market development and trade engagement in the country. Abhishek Goyal, Executive Director & CEO, Aeroprime Group, said, “The launch of direct Hyderabad–Tashkent connectivity marks another significant milestone in Centrum Air’s India growth story. Hyderabad has tremendous potential as an international aviation and commercial hub, and this new service will open up exciting opportunities for travellers, trade and tourism.”
With the Hyderabad launch, Centrum Air now operates seven weekly flights from India—five from Delhi and two from Hyderabad- achieved in less than a year of entering the Indian market. Goyal noted that the rapid expansion reflects the airline’s confidence in India and the growing demand for connectivity between India and Central Asia.
