India Convention Promotion Bureau to Host 15th Conventions India Conclave 2026

The India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB), an organisation supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has announced the 15th edition of the Conventions India Conclave (CIC) 2026, South Asia’s premier business networking event for the MICE industry. The conclave will be held from August 19 to 21, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and jointly organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and Delhi Tourism.

With the theme “Powering the Future of Innovation,” the three-day conclave will bring together key stakeholders from across the global MICE ecosystem to explore emerging trends, foster strategic partnerships and unlock new business opportunities across the industry’s major segments, including incentive travel, exhibitions, association conferences and corporate meetings.

Marking its landmark 15th edition, the Conventions India Conclave also reflects ICPB’s renewed vision of strengthening India’s position as a leading global convention destination. The event assumes added significance as ICPB continues its ongoing efforts to restructure and reinforce its role as the country’s apex body for promoting India in the international convention and meetings marketplace.

Recognised as South Asia’s flagship B2B networking platform for the convention industry, the Conclave is modelled on globally acclaimed events such as IBTM, ITCMA and IMEX. It offers a focused marketplace where buyers and sellers can engage through curated business interactions, fostering meaningful collaborations and long-term partnerships.

A major highlight of the conclave will be its dedicated exhibition showcasing destinations, convention centres, hotels, destination management companies, tourism boards and other MICE service providers. The event will also feature structured B2B meetings with pre-scheduled appointments, enabling exhibitors to engage directly with qualified domestic and international buyers.

The organisers expect participation from 350 to 400 delegates, including hosted buyers from India and overseas, along with 75 to 100 exhibitors representing the breadth of the country’s convention and events industry.

The knowledge programme will feature keynote addresses by internationally renowned industry experts and a series of panel discussions covering some of the most pressing issues shaping the future of the MICE sector. Topics will include technology-driven innovation in the meetings industry, evolving corporate expectations from incentive travel programmes, and strategies to strengthen the synergy between the exhibition and conference sectors. Industry leaders will also share global best practices and insights into emerging opportunities that can further elevate India’s competitiveness in the international MICE landscape.

As India continues to strengthen its convention infrastructure and global connectivity, the 15th Conventions India Conclave aims to serve as a catalyst for dialogue, innovation and business growth. By bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, international buyers and service providers under one roof, the event will provide a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas, shaping policy discussions and showcasing India’s growing capabilities as a preferred destination for international meetings, conventions and business events.
